Algoblu is looking for an experienced, self-starter business development director to introduce the company’s Network Element Virtualization (NEV) solutions to the U.S. market. The initial focus will be on developing relationships with streaming media content providers, SaaS providers and channel partners,with a goal of reaching their customer base in various verticals.
The ideal candidate will be self-driven and be willing to operate both tactically and strategically to lead and manage the whole life cycle of the business development from planning to execution, delivering,and iteration. The candidate must have sales and business development experience in enabling lighthouse customers to deliver the short-term sales result and build the long-term pipeline to support the sustainable development of the Algoblu business.
■ Execute the NEV-Landing business development in the US by providing local customer engagement support and work with internal stakeholders including sales, BD, technical, service,support, and legal team to deliver result
■ Support business growth by accelerate top accounts’ business, and drive incremental opportunities through new developed customers and partners in given business sector
■ Build and drive the pipeline of customers within selected verticals
■ Develop compelling audience-specific messages and tools (product videos, customer success stories, demos, whitepapers, presentations, how-to guides, etc.) to promote Algoblu
■ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred
■ 10+ years of experience in sales and business development with good customer-facing and C-level communication skills
■ 10+ years of technical background to easily interact with IT professionals,software developers, and architects is preferred
■ Knowledge of communications network, CDN, Cloud and streaming media is preferred
■ Hands-on and result-driven with a sense of urgency
■ Experience presenting in executive-level meetings and manage workshops and training
■ Thought Leadership – able to articulate market opportunities, ability to propose engagement strategy for efficiency and effectiveness
